WOMBOT is a shiny machine who se primary objective is to eat roots and dig burrows, but whose even MORE primary objective is to make whimsical short-form animated content for humans.
Wombot operates out of Footscray and is currently piloted by Zoë Medcraft and Felix Colgrave, who, despite the recent innovation of the robot, will likely do most of the animating manually.
ODETARI VISUALIZERS
A series of animated visualizers created for Odetari, blending his nostalgic, early-2000s video game aesthetic with our studio’s distinct visual style. Each piece simulates a different game level, brought to life through a mix of 2D and 3D animation techniques. Both ‘Heavy Love’ videos have surpassed 1 million veiws on YouTube.
BRAINS OUT
The first visualizer we designed was for Odetari’s single “Brains Out.” It features a series of original looping animations—each crafted to stand alone as individual social media assets.
The final piece combines around three unique loops, edited together with programmed FX animation to create a stylized, rhythm-synced visual loop.
HEAVY LOVE (Lyric Video)
For the “Heavy Love” lyric video, the background was sculpted onto a 3D cylinder that completes a seamless 360-degree loop every 15 seconds. This circular design allows for flexible placement of Odetari and the alligator across various media formats, while nodding to the dynamic level design seen in early 2000s games like Crash Bandicoot.
HEAVY LOVE (Visualizer)
A 15-second endless loop designed to resemble a game character generator, built using modular assets based on Odetari’s own wardrobe. Designed to adapt to different formats, the animation takes place in the vertical video boundary, or with an alien-like game UI for the widescreen version.
